waiting on Baby Makai to makes his entrance. It's christmas eve and i'm patiently waiting. I feel really uncomfortable and ended up waking up to a bad migraine. If He doesn't come before the 30th, I will be induced on the 30th. I hope everyone have a wonderful holiday. Merry christmas =)

we are using David as a middle name,
Its Matt's middle name and its the name of his great grandfather.

Welcome to the one and only Third Trimester

Yayyyy,, Today at 28 weeks, I have entered the third trimester. I have 12 weeks left to go, we all know he may come early, just don't know when? I'm very uncomfortable right now, stupid sciatic nerve just wont go away and it don't help with the lower back achiness either lol.
Last week, I found out I have gestational diabetes, so I have been careful with my sugars and watch what I eat, even though it sounds silly to say I have been watching what i have been eating for a long time. But, Its going well, and Im sticking to it. my hormones have been out of whack since the day I found I was pregnant, so i wasnt surprised, hopefully it will go away after im done being pregnant.

But, its getting closer and closer and I just can't wait. Makai's room is finished, just need a few touches here and there, and some more clothes, and other things he needs. My first baby shower is at the end of the month that my friends are throwing. Can't wait :)

Another check up

Mommy had a doc appt on Tuesday, everything started out to be normal. My heartbeat was perfect, the doctor said mommy's measuring well. :)


We scheduled our c-section offically. Its on December 30th, 2010 :)
So, instead of counting a week behind, we are counting ahead again lol. doctors are fun estimating due dates lol. so, mommy is at least at 26 weeks pregnant and 14 weeks left to go!!!!

Mommy needs to go back to the doctors next week for another glucose test.:( to determine if she has gestational diabetes. We are hoping that it's just the pregnancy. and that she doesn't develop diabetes in near future since it runs in the family.

Kick, Kick, Kick, Eat, Eat, Sleep

Hello World,

I am 6 Months today, and only 16 weeks left to go! Getting there.. Getting huge, I think I can still kinda see my feet, but bending over is a lot of hard work to put shoes on though, so I just wear slip on shoes, or crocs that is much comfortable for me. My sweet little boy kicks me all the time, he hasn't discovered the ribs yet, but I have a feeling he's gonna get to it real soon. Kai Kai lets me sleep at least five-six hours if I actually go to bed on time. Bed time is usually 930. without a nap during the day, is usually sooner than later.

I don't have any cravings as much as I use to, But I always seem to want lots of fruit, veggies and some chocolate on the side. lol

Anyhow, Thats it for now :)

The Best News ever

Yesterday I found out the most amazing news! We are having BABY BOY : )

17 Weeks and 2 Days

Sooo... Went to my doctor's appointment everything is going well. Heard the babys heartbeat. i am finally gaining weight and everything is normal. We will know the sex of the baby in three weeks! so excited can't wait. :) Im getting huge feel like a wobbly penguin when I walk and its starting to get difficult to get out of my car. I will be 5 months next week. I felt the baby move around 15 weeks and it was a shock, felt kinda weird at first, but now, its more noticable and interesting and Its starting to feel that there is a little jelly bean in me :) LOL

Anyhow, other than the pregnancy, Matt and I have been busy with work, the h0use is fully decorated and comfy.

So... all i can say that we are doing well and enjoying every moment of this pregnancy and life in our new home.

13 Weeks and 2 Days!

I'm quite relieved and yet very happy. Today Matt and I went to my doctor appointment, Everything went well, Heard the baby's heartbeat, still going strong, It's so amazing hearing the baby's heartbeat, doesn't seem too real to me, but at the same time I'm very happy and we are both healthy. I'm feeling great, No Morning sickness and increasing appetite is always good. I love Veggie Pizza and tons of Fruit right now. Those are my cravings at the moment. I am anxiously waiting to know the sex of the baby. One more month and we will know :)



Matt is doing well, his back isn't hurting anymore and thank goodness, he is busy at work as always, but other than that, he is ready for a short vacation. I'm doing well, other than the pregnancy. The kids I work with, Are amazing, They are growing up so fast, it's just amazes me that they have different personalities and They are just fun to be around! I'm Very Happy to work with a great family.

First post - for the future

Sheena and I have created this blog to talk about our family and our experiences with being pregnant and raising our child. For friends and family, we hope this blog allows you to be able to play a role in our child's life. We'll also endeavor to keep this blog private, but please, we encourage you to allow your friends/family to follow us with permission. We hope to show you our experiences with our lives, and to see our child grow from a tiny baby into a beautiful child. We'll keep you posted on updates as best we can, as time permits.

We both feel that nothing helps a child more than parental involvment, putting your child first. We will strive to fulfill that goal, much like we do with each other. I hope that you enjoy, and that you post comments frequently. We love your feedback. Please though, keep it positive. Life is hard enough as it is, and being pessimistic, negative, and even hurtful is incredibly easy on the internet, I know from experience. Just remember, at the end of the day, this is for all our benefit. We love you all, and enjoy this gift we give to us all! :)

Father's day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today, is father's day, we celebrate all the loving father's out there, especially my husband who is a father to be! I took him to Denny's for brunch, and Let him play the slot machine. He played his favorite game and won a few bucks! Must be his lucky day. We came home afterwards and let the cats play outside. They loved trying to attack the moth that was hanging around by the screen door. SO I would say today has been a great day, except wish that It was sunny and warm! errr. Oregon! I'm doing well, I was happy to have hashbrowns and a burrito for brunch, I think Baby loved it too! I can't feel the baby yet, But I know in a few weeks I will. I can't wait to see my baby again soon and hear my baby's heartbeat in two weeks. I'm excited. I called my Papa to wish him a Happy Father's day and He enjoyed talking to me. I just wish Mama was here, I could hear her in the background, and she would probably make him breakfast or take him out for brunch. But I'm sure wherever she is in Heaven, she is watching over him and being very protective towards him. I love you Papa! Anyway, I think this it.
